Our “Patient Tools” is a secure & reliable web-based service designed to provide alternate means for our patients to stay in touch with us. These tools facilitate appointment scheduling, prescription refill & to obtain referrals. It maintains your electronic medical records, insurance information and ensures that your treating physician has up-to-date information about you at the time of your visit.

How they work…

Like any other On-Line service, you will receive your login information via email from our staff. On our home page, we have provided two text boxes, “User ID” and “Password”, please enter the information you received in the email message in these boxes. When you login first time, the system will require you to change your password. We strongly recommend that you never let anyone have access to your login information. Also, it is a good practice to periodically change your password to avoid any unauthorized access to your information.
As mentioned earlier, our on-line tools simply provide an alternate method for our patients to communicate with us. If you don’t feel comfortable using it, you don’t have to use it, our friendly staff will always be available to take your calls and answer any of your questions over the phone or in-person.
Please note that these tools are designed only for NON-EMEGENCY situations and to promote paperless office environment. They shell never be used when immediate attention is required.

Things you can do….

  • Schedule Appointments

    • On-line appointment scheduler provides you an alternate means to schedule your appointments.
    • You can now request appointment with your physicians online even when the office is closed.
    • Appointment book for the selected physician is displayed on the screen, you can select date & time slot convenient for you and send in your request. System will temporarily hold the spot under your name and wait for the staff member to process your request.
    • You will receive an acknowledgment email and then a status update email once processing of you request is completed by the staff. 
    • You can conveniently cancel & reschedule appointments as needed.
    • You will receive appointment reminder via e-mail.
    • It allows you to View your current & previous appointments with their transactions details
  •  Request Prescription Refill 

    • You can now go online and request your physician for prescription refill.
    • System will require you to first select the desired medication from the displayed list of your current medications and then to specify the pharmacy, where you want us to call your prescription.
    • You will receive an acknowledgment email and then a status update email once processing of you request is completed by the staff. 
  •  Request Referral 

    • Referral request now can be made online 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
    • You have to tell us name of the doctor, you would like to be referred by selecting his / her name from the displayed list or enter the name in case you don’t find it in the list.
    • We will send you the referral letter in PDF format via email attachment, which you can print and bring it with you to your appointment.
  • Insurance Information
     
    • We would like you to let us know whenever there is any change in your health insurance information, so that your medical claims can be filled in timely faction.
    • This tool can assist you in updating your existing insurance information or add new or remove health insurance plan from your profile from the convenience of your own home.
    • The information needed here can be found on the health insurance card you received from the insurance company or from your employer or from the insurance policy issuer.
    • We recommend our patients to verify their health plan information prior to making the appointment.
    • Our staff will review the changes and will inform you via email once they are applied successfully.
  • Demographic & Contact Information 

    • So that we can serve you better, we would like you to please notify us when there is change in your address, email, phone or any other information.
    • We will confirm you at the email address saved in your profile.
  • Account Information 

    • Your account information is now available to you on-line. You will find our patient account ledger interface very user friendly. Here you can find all you need to know about your payment history, status of your claims and payments received from your insurance carrier.  
  • Load Documents 

    • If you have access to a scanner, you can attach documents to your profile which you would like to share with us.
    • As space is limited, we would request you to please limit your documents to the following: Current Health Insurance Card (both side), your driving license, most recent lab results or X-ray.
    • Our staff will evaluate the documents and inform you if they can be attached with your profile.
  • Medical History 

    • Entering information into your health record ensures that your physician has up-to-date information about you at the time of your visit.
    • It will avoid lengthy paperwork and form filling in the physician office at the time of appointment.
    • You can keep all your current and past medications, allergies, ailments, and your general medical history at one central location.
    • Now, you have access to your health record anytime, anywhere.
  • Print Option 

    • You can access your personal, health insurance and medical information simply by login into your account from our web-site. You can also, print all of it whenever you need a hard copy. This become handy when you are visiting other physicians, you can bring it with you and save yourself effort to fill in the same information over and over again.
